About Me

HELLOOOOOO! :D

I was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to Calgary, Canada when I was very young. My home and my heart are in Calgary.

Right now I am in my fifth year of my English Lit degree through the University of Calgary and I LOVE IT!

I've decided to expand my horizons by travelling around the world this year. I'm currently doing an exchange program at the University of Glasgow and I'm looking to explore the UK and the rest of Europe while I'm here!

I guess in general, I'm a pretty optimistic, open-minded goofball. Some might say that I just don't know how to grow-up and act my age. A lot of the time that's not always a good thing, but I like to think of it as just another way to make life a bit more interesting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a few years teaching children English which is not a particularly amazing feat in itself. What was amazing is everything I learned from them in such a short period of time. Experiencing the world from the eyes of a child can be such a delightfully satisfying revelation.

Teach, Learn, Share

This is such a difficult question because no matter who I meet, whether it's a wise sage or a little child, there will always be something that I can teach, learn and share with him or her. You will undoubtedly have insight in an area that I would love to learn about, and I will have insight to teach you too, but until we meet, there's no telling what that insight will be. I can share stories about my life, about people and place I know, and things I've done, but none of them have any meaning if there isn't a person to hear them first.

TL;DR I have no idea.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Not a whole lot, I'll admit. I can share an enthusiastic personality and an insatiable curiosity for new things and cultures. I'll share whatever stories and insight I can offer :D
