About Me

I have recently finished my studying in Germany after about 4 years and now I finally arrived in Canada after planning a road trip with my girlfriend Rebecca for a few months. We are about to travel from the east to the west coast within the next months. I'm really excited to discover the beautiful and impressive nature of this huge country :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my opinion couchsurfing isn't just a way to stay at a certain place. It is more about meeting people and getting to know them, their lifestyle and sharing experiences.
So, to me it is really the best way to visit cities - meet new people, sharing all kind of stories and just have a nice time together!

Interests

I guess my friends would describe me kind of nerdy, especially when it comes to my interests. I'm really into all kind of computer stuff, games and fantasy things. But above that, I also enjoy various outdoor activities and sports, so maybe am not the typical nerd :P

I also love listening to music, watching movies, cooking, reading and so on - I'm really open minded and like to learn new things, so maybe you can show something i don't know? ;-)

Music, Movies, and Books

This hard to say - I'm really into electronic music, pretty much every kind of. But also listen to Rap and Metal and still open minded to different genres.

Concerning to movies I mostly like the ones which aren't so popular but pretty awesome. I usually don't like the typical hollywood movies with famous, but crappy, actors and budgets over the income of the whole Greek population. For me a nice plot and a amazing way to tell it don't need piles of money ;-)

I just started reading about a year ago and which sounds really weird to myself and I guess also for the most people reading this. My first experiences about reading were in school - I didn't liked it at all. But a few years later I tried to read a book and I really enjoyed it! So didn't read that much yet , but I'm still excited about any recommendations!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't know if it is really amazing, but it still the best thing I've done. Before I started studying I were pretty fat (like 135 kg at 182cm height), so I decided to change that. Within 3 years I lost about 50 kg bodyweight by changing my whole lifestyle and stopped a lot of bad habits. I'm a little bit proud about that :-)

Teach, Learn, Share

I guess that's the point every couchsurfer loves to describe and I'm no exception...
I'm not sure what to write here, so I trying to avoid getting to the point by ending this section immediately :P

What I Can Share with Hosts

A good laugh and stupid sense of humour is the best thing I can share. And some beer!
I also like cooking and baking even if I'm not pretty good in either of them. But I'm awesome at watching people cooking and shouted more or less useful comments at them. Don't miss that experience :P
