About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Saying YES more

ABOUT ME

So I gave up, sold, got rid of pretty much all my material possessions in life as I wanted to go travelling. My old life wasnt giving wanted I wanted out of life, so I went travelling to find what I wanted and to be honest I was really lucky I found more than I could ever want.

Im 32 years old, see more of than planet than most, but not seen enough of it yet, I honestly think that travel will be something I do for a long time, Im not quite ready to settle down to a conservative lifestyle.

I hit my head a lot in when I travel, especially in South East Asia.

PHILOSOPHY

You have two choices in life be happy or be sad.

You cant take it with you.

Good things happen if you allow them to.

Fleeing Demons or chasing Angels, run to the mountains.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to meet new people, learn what makes them tick, see what they like about life and the places they live. Any tourist can read a travel guide, but I prefer to speak to the "locals" and experience their lives.

I enjoy learning new languages, but sometimes struggle with the pronunciation and grammar.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couchsurfing, but not to travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a very broad taste in all genres, but I grew up on a diet of rock and roll and blockbuster movies. I love reading and varied tastes in the written word. Though I have to admit the majority of reading I have done recently involves countries I have visited.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tough call.

1. Visiting every continent (except the south pole) in the space of one year, whilst working just to win a drunken bet made in the pub.

2. Seeing the Komodo Dragons in the wild.

3. Finishing the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal in ten days.
