About Me
Hello: I'm a Brit called David who is in Nepal volunteering after the earthquake - I am a Water, sanitation & Hygiene Promotion Advisor. Re accommodation in Kathmandu: Do you want a really nice room to rent with wonderful views in a shared house? The house belongs to Jamuna Shrestha - my long term Nepalese friend from when I was a VSO (Brit Peace Corps) volunteer in Nepal. Jamuna's house is located well away from the noisy polluted tourist Thamel area of Kathmandu. N.B. Jamuna is in Ireland with family recovering from personal tragedy following April's Nepal earthquake. You are very welcome take a look at the room: I am in Nakkhudol near Bhaisepati Chowk just south of Patan just outside the ringroad. I am looking after Jamuna's house while she is away in Ireland for 3 months staying with her children and new grand child.: Jamuna needs the rent to survive in Ireland! Rooftop room wth a view US $12 per night/$70 per week/$250 per month. Good bus routes to Jawalakhel & Ratna Park (central Patan/Kathmandu). Are you a smoker? (I ask as non smokers preferred). Jamuna's mum and cousin also live in the house (I eat dahl baht tarkari - rice, lentils & vegetables - with the family half the time). Cheers from David Lillywhite. My nepal mobile no is 9818592749; Landline 01 -5592926 davidlillywhite@phonecoop.coop
