About Me

Hi, I am David, I am an easy going person loving to be outdoors in nature and experiencing a new culture and lifestyle. Since I am from the countryside and now living in Vienna I like both way of lives the same. The city and the pure nature. The first time I really travelled was when I went to Australia for one year having a blast of a time. Since then I told myself to never stop travelling. Thats why I signed up on couchsurfing to keep the good times rolling with meeting nice new people and countries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here to get to know people from different cultural backgrounds better and to meet new friends

Interests

Most interests of mine are about sports and nature. I really love to spent time outdoors in the mountains, but also at recreational sites. Slacklining and Bouldering / Rock Climbing is the one thing I do the most at the moment. Besides that I enjoy going Snowboarding in winter and playing Basketball if I find the time.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music depends on my mood and on what I am going to do.
If I go to a club I prefer electronical music. But I also enjoy hip hop as well as normal rock and pop music. A good mixture I would say.

At the moment I found Jack Reacher books for myself as well as the Metro 2033 books. Besides that there are also some good classic books I enjoyed reading

I would say that I like to watch for example:
Game of Thrones, Suits, Weeds, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A gap year in Australia with a working holiday visa. Loved it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to slackline, german or maybe if you are interested rock climbing. Maybe also how to survive in the wilderness for a while.

What I Can Share with Hosts

An easy and outgoing attitude. Laughter and a good time while travelling. I was told that I make a mean lasagne, so if there is time we can cook together.
What I share with you is the interest in new people to meet.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, England, France, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Luxembourg, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, United States
