Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The countries I have enjoyed the most - are the countries I have settled in rather than just travelling through as a tourist. I enjoy seeing the day to day life of people in new cities and new countries and comparing that experience to back home. I feel couchsurfing is the best way to meet and experience local people living local lifes - which I find is a much better experience than being in a hostel with lots of other Brits.

Update : I’ve had some really great experiences hosting and staying at couch surfers. I’ve made long term friends and hung out with really cool people I otherwise wouldn’t have met, while seeing the really cool non tourist spots of cities and eating at some incredible restaurants!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Maxed out a passport and had to buy a new one as I had no room for any more visas/stamps
-Eaten a hamburger in Hamburg, a frankfurt in Frankfurt and a yorkshire pudding in Yorkshire
-Snowboarded in Dubai
-Saw Liverpool win the League Cup at Wembley
-Eaten scorpions in Thailand
