I'm a 29 years old guy from a small town in Catalonia. I lived in Barcelona for 7 years while studying mathematics at university. After that I moved to the UK to do a PhD and I recently moved to Kyoto to keep doing research in maths. I feel very lucky that my job allows me to travel a lot and visit many countries!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting people from different countries and learning about their culture and way of thinking. Always happy to show you around Kyoto if I'm free! When I travel, I think it is very interesting to meet local people so that you can discover the place through their experiences.

Interests

I like meeting people, discovering new places! I also like learning new languages. I am trying to learn some Japanese at the moment, which looks like a big challenge - any help is more than welcome!
