About Me

Love to bike, ski or therwise stay kinetic. I like meeting people with a good story—especially adventure—that is why I am interested in hosting.

I work too much but play hard on days off. Music is essential to whatever activity (I really like Ween). I am happily married going on 30 years together. We live in the mountains outside of Denver. I enjoy cooking at home and watching movies that involve sarcastic robots (Mystery science theater). I like to read for pleasure but mostly read medical journals given my livelihood. I enjoy meeting people but not a fan of crowds. I believe every person on this planet has something to teach (except maybe Trump and his closest people). I love the outdoors and live in a mountain biking Mecca for the front range of Denver.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Would like to open my world preview up a little. Travelers tend to be interesting people with great stories. I understand traveling on a budget and believe in karma—i’d like to open my house up if it helps someone as they cycle their way through or are backpacking ( live close to Colorado trail).

Music, Movies, and Books

Ween. Some EDM for pacing cardio workouts. Favorite movies include caddy shack, anything sci-fi, where the buffalo roam and pretty much anything featuring Bill Murray (Garfield is an exception to that). I really dig Kurt Vonnegut, Carlos Castaneda, Aldus Huxley. Other reads I quite enjoy are travel adventures around the globe by bicycle, anything from Charles Bukowski...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Graduated in the top 10 of my PharmD class against all probability of even attending secondary school. I barely made it out of high school (1.67 gpa). I have done nothing of great importance except raise an amazing kid and enjoy my family.

Teach, Learn, Share

I mentor pharmacy students. I like to learn pretty much whatever someone has to impart.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A guest bed with a bathroom. The annoyance of ultiple pets including a goofy grate Dane. Food, if we have any, old scotch, good beer if available and hopefully great conversation.

Countries I’ve Visited

Costa Rica, Kenya, Mexico, Turkey, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
