Hi !

So I'm David, swiss guy who's living currently in Lausanne in a shareflat with 2 others roomates.

I traveled, worked and did volunteering for several months in Asia and New Zealand and now I'm working for the national railway company here in Lausanne.

I used to be able to host couchsurfer like a year ago and then I couldn't anymore. Things have changed since, I moved to a new flat with 2 others friends and now we'd like to host people again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I discovered this website when I traveled by myself 2 years ago and I used it quite a lot especially the meet-up option. Some of the people I've met changed my vision and some of them will remain in my memory forever I guess.

In my opinion Couchsurfing allow you to meet random people from anywhere in a very easy way and offer the possibility to share opinion and idea between stranger. It can make you think about various topics and see the world from a different standpoint.

I believe sharing ideas between people, whoever they are, are the key to make this world a better place.

"If you have an idea, convince only 2 people about your idea. Give each of them the instruction they have one year to convince 2 others people with this idea and they will have to give the same instruction to the next people who will follow this idea. In 30 years the whole population of this world are convinced of your idea."

Books : Politics and economics books, Mafia and drug traffic economy books, Astronomy and physics books, Philosophy and Theology books... I read a lot and I'm seeking for new books all the time to understand our World and get more and more knowledge.
