Overview
About Me
Easy going dude with a passion for good food and good wine. Studied Immunology and Pharmacology at the University of Strathclyde for a few years and I'm currently in the process of becoming an officer in the British army after three brilliant years in the army reserve. I'm planning on visiting as much of the world as possible over the next year.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I made an account a few years ago to see what all the fuss is about when I started hosting couchsurfers through one of my flatmates. We've hosted people from dozens and dozens of countries and we've had nothing but good experiences from each one. Now, I've got the time and money to start exploring more of the world and I fully intend to. Couchsurfing seems like a fantastic way to do this because it offers so much more local knowledge to wherever you visit, be that where's the best bar or what's the cheapest way to get around the city or finding hidden things that sites like tripadvisor could never tell you about.
Interests
I played curling for the best part of 12 years and got pretty good at it. Been on hiatus from the sport for a few years.
Play 5 a side football at least once a week and follow my home town club Kilmarnock and Valencia abroad.
