I was born in the city of Murcia, Spain. When I was 22 I moved to Barcelona, where I was working as a part-time music teacher in elementary schools while performing as a singer/songwriter and broadening my education. There I was able to release an album of my songs called "The Record-Player" which received praising reviews and provided me with a publishing deal. I also had the pleasure of obtaining a B.A. in Humanities at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) and a Master in Music as an Interdisciplinary Art at the University of Barcelona (UB).

My love for American popular music and the irrepressible need of expressing myself through singing and songwriting have brought me to New York City thanks to an Artist Fulbright grant. At NYU-Steinhardt I have been part of the brand new Songwriting graduate program.
