Friendly Canadian guy, taking some time to wander and meet nice people. Spent the past 20 years in Vancouver, now living in my small hometown in the interior of BC.

I'm more low-key than hectic. Like taking time to get a sense of the town or city I'm visiting. Spent many years working on a golf course, with winters off to travel. Slow and easy is great - flexible travel is the most pleasurable to me.

Have traveled often in South Africa and own a small apartment in Valencia, Spain.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Solo travel can be wonderful, but I miss companionship and company. Always nice to find friendly locals who like to share their stories and homes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to explore and love hosts with a passion for their area. Walks and outings together would be great. Cooking is a pleasure and sharing a kitchen makes for a great evening. I think CS is about making connections and I'm open to that.
