About Me
My great passions are photography, finding out about different cultures, arts, literature, movies, theatre, eating out and talking.
I am learning Italian, watching old Italian films and reading a wonderful novel by Vasco Pratolini: "Cronache die poveri amanti" about a street and its inhabitants in Italy around 1925. Pratolini actually lived in that street, Via del Corno, as a young person. So it's full of detail about everyday life in this poor area, the rise of the fascists and the desperate struggle against them, all intermingled with love stories, treachury, and all else.
