About Me

I am an Underwater Photographer and Videographer slowly working my way around the globe discovering all the underwater magic that this world has to offer.
I left home 7 years ago and have spent my time working in Thailand, Malaysian Borneo, Indonesia and Australia. With plans to go to Tonga and Mexico soon.
I tried couch surfing for the first time in Tasmania and loved it, so am keen to try it again. I can’t host just yet as I’m moving around constantly but aim to be half settled somewhere very soon.
Keen to see all things natural and to get any tips or local info.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to experience new places, especially if they're not in the top trip advisor results. Local hosts are amazing at giving the inside scoop and off the beaten track knowledge whether it be as simple as a great ice cream shop, great views or quiet beaches. They also tend to travel a lot themselves so will be great at giving advice for future places to check out.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently enjoying a lot of local Australian music, primarily folk/surf culture music/songs of the sea.
Anything outdoorsy including BBC and Attenborough goodness, also a good Lord of the Rings marathon would never go amiss.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending three weeks on a traditional Phinisi sail boat sailing in Indonesia from Komodo to Raja Ampat diving in the most remote locations, walking with dragons, dancing with natives tribes, swimming with sharks, diving with dolphins, watching whales and sleeping under the stars with friends of a lifetime was pretty incredible!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to help people with photo or video editing as well as most ocean related things And I was a photography and video/editor instructor for some years.
I have a lot of experience with dive related holidays as well as contacts for dive centres. Always keen to hear about more !

What I Can Share with Hosts

A lot of chat about travel and all things ocean, but also keen to hang out or go my own way, whatever suits.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Egypt, England, France, Germany, Italy, Malaysia, Malta, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, United States
