Overview
About Me
Last year I finished university (studying Physics) and I currently work as a technician at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology, mostly performing and working with computed tomography (CT) scans. In my free time I do Parkour with a few English speaking friends, go swimming, enjoy reading -- both fiction and non-fiction, and occasionally try to improve my photography skills. I like being outside, and enjoy bike rides -- including long trips.
I drink tea rather than coffee, but have a coffee machine for guests. I prefer water over alcohol, but there is always some beer in my fridge for friends.
I was born in Leipzig, but there are still many things in this city that I, too, haven't seen so far. I'd like to discover a few of them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd like to welcome guests and enable them to stay in the city without spending money on accommodation. I also like hearing new stories from around the world.

Music: my favorite genre is definitely Punkrock, but I also like a lot of the calmer genres. Janis Joplin for example :)
Books: lots -- fiction and non-fiction, and always interested in nice, new stories.
Memento, Firefly, Matrix, Harold and Maude, Fight Club, Enter the Void, Amélie, Donnie Darko, Star Trek, movies from Studio Ghibli (especially Spirited Away and Totoro), Futurama and Simpsons.
