About Me

Hey I'm David! I've heard from friends about this coachsurfing malarky so I thought I'd give it a go and hopefully I can meet some awesome people and help them have a great time in London!

I'm from the North of England but a few months ago I moved down to London after graduating from Uni. I love to travel and just exploring London while I'm living here. I live in Ealing which is relatively far from the centre so it would be difficult for me to meet up during the week (but I may still be up for it!) but I'd usually be well up for meeting up from lunchtime on friday or over the weekend :)

We can go exploring together and share stories from our travels, it'll be great fun yay :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet interesting people and try to pay it forward.

Interests

Currently learning to play guitar and ukulele, and being terrible at both. But I love exploring London, trying to find a cool new place each week, and travelling whenever I have the time and money to do so.

Music, Movies, and Books

I absolutely adore the Beatles, I'm also a big fan of 60s music in general, Radiohead, Elbow, Tame Impala, Foals, Phoenix, RHCP, Django Django, alt-j, Coldplay, Bombay Bicycle Club, Pink Floyd, Gorillaz, Joy Divison, Friendly Fires, Blur, Bob Marley, ABBA (who doesn't like ABBA?!), I think that'll do for now!

I love Fight Club, I've watched it more times than I'm proud to admit. I also love Life of Brian, the Bourne trilogy, most Tom Hanks films, Quentin Tarantino movies. Also Misery and flight of the navigator (why has no one else seemingly ever seen this classic) are 2 of my favourites.

I don't read too much but I love the Alchemist and I'm currently reading 'One Summer: America 1927'

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swung on a vine in the amazon rainforest. I felt like george of the jungle for a good 3.2 seconds.
