About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My goal in life for as long as I can remember has been to work hands on in the field of sea turtle conservation: researching ways to increase population growth and prevent loss due to climate change, working in a rehabilitation centre, or just living on the beach and patrolling every night to deter poachers.

Mini-missions include raising awareness that climate change isn't a future concern, but a current one; and to get people excited about sustainable, carbon-neutral (and healthy!) living

ABOUT ME

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm brand new to couchsurfing, and hoping to make it a lifelong commitment. My first foray into the couchsurfing experience will be a 3 week trip around Europe in Spring, with a lot of quick stops to see as much as possible.

I've lived in Panama as a temporary expat a few times now in the past 3 years, and my favourite parts are consistently the bits of culture I bring home and subconsciously incorporate into my everyday life. I would love to learn and to take home a little bit of culture from everywhere I go. I mean, is there a better way to experience a new places than with those who know them best - the people who call it home? And hopefully I'll make some friends along the way :)

Teach, Learn, Share

LEARN
Everything - I'm a sponge for information. I'm most interested in learning new ways to cook and dance; new ways to live actively and sustainably; and new ways to see the world.

TEACH
Likewise, if you want to learn then I want to teach! Anything including social dancing, cooking, baking (especially cheesecakes), navigating Canada, Canadian cultures and food, Panamanian culture and food, marine biology, ecology, and conservation.

Countries I’ve Visited

Costa Rica, Greece, Italy, Panama, United States
