About Me

Hello! I am a 21 year old Student studying in Prague for the Semester. I love to travel and experience new cultures in many different forms. A day full of hiking, sight-seeing, and bar hopping is equally as exciting as a lazy afternoon of drinking tea and people-watching at a local cafe. I love hearing people's stories, and i'm always looking to make a new friend.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that it's often times really easy to sleep in a nice standardized hotel room or crash at a hostel with other travelers, and we then get stuck in doing that. The whole reason i am traveling and studying is to get out of my comfort zone, to not always do what is "easiest". I think that by couch surfing i will get a more authentic experience in each city i travel to, and that i will be able to learn something from each host that i meet.

Interests

DOGS, the great outdoors, unique coffee shops, eco-tourism, romantic comedies, live music, wine, delicious food, exploring a new city, meeting new people and hammocking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really enjoy a variety of music, especially music i can dance to. When i am not dancing, i like to lay in my bed and listen to Ben Rector, John Mayer, The Script, Adele, Sam Smith, One Republic, Goo Goo Dolls, and if i'm being really honest....probably some Taylor Swift.

My friends make fun of me because after most movies i see i claim "That movie was amazing, one of my favorites.". To name a few: Into the Wild, Easy A, and The Hunger Games

The most recent book i've read that i really loved was "The Kindness Diaries" by Leon Logothetis.
