I'm author from Manchester, UK, that has decided at the age of 45 to get his travelling boots back on and see more of the world and turn it into a new book. I'm a creative in many different fields from BBC Podcasting to teaching writing workshops in schools and prisons. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've travelled a lot a decade or so ago around SE Asia and lived around the Greek Islands when I was younger and couch surfed around during this time and was always the best way to meet people and learn about the place that I'm staying in. What better way of settling into a city than by staying with someone who lives there? So as I'm back out on the road I thought I'd give it another go as a I make my way through the world.
