Overview
About Me
I'm a very helpful person wherever I stay. I have an outstanding work ethic, which of course I bring home to my personal life as well. It's all about being considerate and having respect for others. With that said, I would be ever so grateful for anybody who is willing to invite me into their home.
A little about my background: I grew up in the suburbs outside of Indianapolis as the youngest of three kids. My parents raised us with a middle class income in a peaceful quiet neighborhood. I graduated high school and started working right away. A few years down the road I decided to give college a try, but quickly realized it wasn't for me. After working construction, at factories, hotel and hospitality industry, and food service industry, I've finally discovered something that I really enjoy! I've been in my field of work now for 3 years and I have no intention of stopping. I love the event business where I'm involved in promotional marketing!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to experience traveling in a way that's outside of my comfort zone. It's a great way to see the world and offer the same to others when I'm home. I really enjoy learning about the differences of cultures domestically and internationally.
Interests
I really enjoy running to get my exercise. I'm not big on lifting weights, but I will if motivated by others. I enjoy going places that I've never been to. And I really enjoy the nature. Portland is one of my favorite places! I like exploring through parks and wooded areas. And all of this enjoyment is possible with a pair of headphones on listening to some of my latest faves.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some of my recent favorite music includes Hozier, Sam Smith, Tom Waits, and other new music that I might discover. I prefer calm peaceful songs, like acoustic, however, I will listen to just about anything and enjoy the sound. Classic faves are Sublime, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Bob Marley, Dave Matthews Band.
When it comes to movies I really like "Goodfellas" and "Ace Ventura".
Favorite book ever: East of Eden.
I like anything that John Steinbeck wrote.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled to 15 major cities in a month!
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn as much as possible! I'm very interested in learning about different cultures and the differences of people in general. I also like to teach whatever I can, however I'm mostly always busy learning new things from others. I love to share! That pretty much applies to every aspect of my life. I am willing to split anything of mine with anybody whom I care about and I even love to share and help those people who are in need.
What I Can Share with Hosts
The things I can share with my hosts are my amazing stories of my traveling adventures! I'll bring some beer or wine and help with simple chores.
