Note to Couch Surfers about the Islands of Hawaii: I do NOT live on Oahu ( Honolulu) nor Maui, nor Kauai. My home is on the Big Island of Hawaii. The only Airports on Hawaii Island (Big Island) are Kona and Hilo Airports. My home is in Pahoa Village where the lava recent flowed! Pahoa is just 20 minutes from Hilo Airport and 2.5 hours from Kona Airport. I will be unable to host you until end January 2019 as I am traveling until that time. If you are coming to Big Island I can offer you a Private Room Shared Bath and Kitchen. However, I do request one hour of work each day from my guests to tidy the home or work in the veggie & fruit gardens. Enjoy your stay in Hawaii.
