About Me

An Australian who has called Siem Reap, Cambodia home for nearly ten years.
I embrace my identity as a gay cis male, living a cali-sober lifestyle, I approach life with a nonjudgmental attitude, encouraging everyone to be true to themselves. Entrusting my small businesses to my incredible team, I am currently channeling my passion for fitness and nutrition as a personal trainer in Southeast Asia. My journey takes me on frequent travels around the region for various freelance projects. Though I'm not always in town due to work commitments, when I am, my spare room is always open to the right people. Cheers to embracing diversity and spreading positivity!

I'm here on Couchsurfing for the fantastic opportunity it brings to connect with new queer and queer ally travelers. In my journey, it's not just about finding accommodation; it's about creating connections and forging friendships while we are all on the road.

I believe in the power of shared experiences, and Couchsurfing offers a unique platform for like-minded souls to cross paths. Whether you're seeking a cozy spot to crash during your travels or looking to share stories over a cup of coffee, my virtual door is always open. Life is for making memories, swapping stories, and building friendships that span the globe. Because for me, Couchsurfing isn't just about a place to stay—it's about the beautiful community of travelers and the diverse stories we bring together.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my time in Cambodia over the years I have learned the language so I could spend considerable time in Pagodas across the country learning from Kru Khmer (Animism practitioners within Theravada Buddhism) about the old spiritual practices surrounding Khmer "magic" practice which led me to have the amazing opportunity to receive Sak Yant tattoos from some of Cambodians oldest and monks.
As a foreigner, getting such deep knowledge and understanding of a dying ancient cultural practice has been the most life-changing experience.
