Über mich
Hey, and thanks for stopping by my profile! While traveling I love to meet people from all walks of life, building worldly connections, and turning new acquaintances into something lasting. I love great food, thoughtful conversations, and exploring the quirks and stories that make life so fascinating.
If you’re just looking for free accommodation without connecting, I might not be the right host. I’m happy to give you your space, but clear communication and respect for my house rules are non-negotiable. I will not tolerate freeloaders or inconsiderate house guests. If you’re disrespectful, I won’t hesitate to ask you to leave—I’m not easily intimidated.
I run three businesses here in Siem Reap, so respect for my professional life is a must. I’m not on holiday, and I need my rest. While I may not always have time to play tour guide, I know the best spots in town and can suggest amazing ways to explore the temple complex. If I’m free, I’d love to join you on an adventure!
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
I use Couchsurfing to share the incredible experience of Siem Reap and its amazing culture, helping visitors connect with the history, traditions, and people that make this place so special. Cambodia is rich in heritage and vibrant life, and Siem Reap offers so much beyond Angkor Wat—from hidden local gems to authentic food spots that showcase the heart of this region.
Many of the CS guests I’ve hosted have been budget travelers, and it’s been amazing to see how much they’ve appreciated the recommendations, unique experiences, and local insights I’ve shared. I love giving my best to the people I host and helping them explore Siem Reap in ways that go beyond the usual tourist trails.
I know being in a foreign place can feel overwhelming, so I try to help however I can. Couchsurfing, for me, is about making genuine connections and turning brief interactions into something more meaningful. Some of the incredible people I’ve hosted have become close friends, and we still keep in touch, sharing stories and even traveling together later on.
Siem Reap is full of depth and hidden layers. Beyond the temples, there are amazing stories to uncover—whether it’s learning about traditional crafts, exploring floating villages, or diving into the local food scene. If you’re curious and eager to learn, I’m happy to help guide you to experiences that will leave a lasting impression!

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
During my time in Cambodia over the years I have learned the language so I could spend considerable time in Pagodas across the country learning from Kru Khmer (Animism practitioners within Theravada Buddhism) about the old spiritual practices surrounding Khmer "magic" practice which led me to have the amazing opportunity to receive Sak Yant tattoos from some of Cambodians oldest and monks.
As a foreigner, getting such deep knowledge and understanding of a dying ancient cultural practice has been the most life-changing experience.
