Nor can I be silent about the fascist Islamist Hamas. They are the worst of the worst, and enjoy inflicting horror on children , the elderly, women and men.
Just think, if the trillions of dollars that have gone into the entirety of the Middle-East could be put to humane causes: Building schools, hospitals, green infrastructure, factoría, offices workshops, reparations to those that have lost.
Land only is worth killing for when it becomes part of a zero sum game.: “ If Yisrael has land that my ancestors lived on they must be killed, for only that land matters. “ Well what if there could be for peace? The Illegal Israeli settlements on the West Bank must be removed if that is what the Palestinian People want. They must go or be given equal or better land in exchange .
I want to be the change. I want to know I’m doing everything possible to repair our planet. My career, my hobbies, my relationships-are all about saving the Earth!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet awesome people from all over the world If you stay with me you need to know that I live in a small studio of 200 Square feet plus a full bathroom. The section I live in is known affectionately as Tenderhill or Nobloin. Officially “Lower Nob Hill”. It’s where the more Tony Nob Hill meets the gritty Tenderloin. Don’t believe what you read on Social Media:You haven’t seen San Francisco until you’ve seen The Tenderloin!
Over 3,500 children live in the Tenderloin and many many more come from all over the Bay to school there. The cultural amenities are insane there: Historic building after historic hotel And 4 and 5 Star hotels, restaurants, music venues, food from over 100 countries, museums, galleries, theatres,…..
Yes there are open air drug markets because San Franciscans have a huge heart and there are a large number of churches and NGO’s that work the Tenderloin praying hope against hope that they can prevent just one more overdose. Even better; assisting addicts to come clean and/or to find supportive housing.
My building is an old hotel with 24 hour staff. You MUST have proper ID to enter my building. Don’t waste my time or yours if you don’t have proper ID You WON’T be able to stay with me

Interests

I do Tikun Olam which means "Repair the Earth"in Hebrew. When hiking, I'm mindful of each step and how can I cause much bigger changes by positioning large stones to reroute all hikers away to allow that section of Earth to "repair" Tikun Olam.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music rock, jazz, pop, hip-hop, R&B, Mowtown, classical, alternative, punk , new wave. It’s endless. David Crosby just died and it has me thinking about the Hollies, Crosby Stills & Nash, Buffalo Springfield, the The Byrds. The whole folk -rock , pop-rock constellation. I saw a lot of those artists. They are dying with increasing frequency. I think Ella Fitzgerald is the greatest female vocalist of all time. I love Stevie Nicks, Taylor Swift , BB Rexha, Rihanna, Beyonce, Sia, Kesha,Whitney, Bruno Mars, Celo Green,Too many greats to mention.
I really am digging Michael Buble. I’d be remiss not to mention Michael Jackson, Prince, the Greatful Dead, Pearl Jam, Elvis, Bobby Darin…The Beatles, The Stones, , Dylan….
There are so many books! I love Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Isabelle Allende, Shakespeare, Hemingway, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Alice Walker.l
