About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To help visitors to Hawaii experience the island, the island way
ABOUT ME
Im a southern boy from Georgia, but now reside in Hawaii. I'm a chef and a handyman that has recently quit the corporate world to return to a students life to finish a degree in engineering. I've been told that I'm very easy to be around. I'm comfortable in most situations and try to look on the brighter side of life. I'm very fun loving, but also have a serious side that likes to get things done rather than talk about it all day. I've traveled through Asia, Europe, Central America, and the west coast of the US staying with friends, and have had many people stay with me in Hawaii so I know what it's like on both sides of the coin to staying on someone's couch. If I stay with you, I promise that you won't regret it, and most likely make a friend for life and a connection in Hawaii.
PHILOSOPHY
Happiness is not something to work towards in the future or something that happened in the past, it's a decision we make everyday
Karma is a bitch, so always pay positivity forward

Interests
Being in hawaii, I have access to some of the best outdoor opportunities in the world. I love to surf, hike, and camp as much as possible. I also like to run, crossfit, lift weights, and yoga several times a week as well. I do a bit of free diving, kayaking, and sailing when I have to chance too.
I was a chef back in Georgia before I joined the navy and served 5 years in Guam and Hawaii. I was trained as a mechanic, so I have a variety of skills in many fields. The last 5 years, I was working for BAE on Pearl Harbor as a project manager fixing ships. This last summer, I quit to return to school to finish a degree in mechanical engineering, but not before I traveled through Europe and Central America for 9 months, staying with friends along the way. I'm currently on summer break and am traveling back to Georgia via train before I make my way to the desert of Nevada for burningman and then back to Hawaii for the fall semester.
These days I'm using a lot of my skills helping build various art projects, work on cars, and home improvements. If you let me stay with you, I'd love to pay you back by cooking a meal for you or help fix anything I can.
I'm also a fire dancer in Hawaii and perform at various events in and around the state.
