About Me

I am a very easygoing person and love traveling a lot.

In my free time I am quite active in meetup groups, including improv, hiking and LGBTQ events. I always feel that the world is so much bigger than one can ever imagine. I am hoping by hosting couchsurfers I can somehow get to know more about the other side of the world, have good laughs and make some friends. And my biggest hope is you will get to love Taiwan as much as I do after visiting.

I am always exploring new places in and out of Taipei. I will of course love to show couchsurfers around if I have time. I am more than happy to recommend places and events for people to live like the local as well.

There is a Chinese proverb saying “Read Ten Thousand Books, Walk Ten Thousand Miles.” I am a bookworm myself. I really love reading. But the world has so much to offer I always have to remind myself to go outside and explore more. I look forward to sharing this life journey with people I come across.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to step out of my comfort zone and connect with people from different countries and cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I bungee jumped off Kawarau Bridge in New Zealand. Definitely one of the most amazing experiences I ever had.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been a Chinese TA before in the States so I can teach you some basic Chinese phrases to survive in Taiwan.

I am currently learning German just for fun. Learning a new language is like opening a new window to see the world in a different view.

I have read a lot of books and would love to share with book lovers. I also have a lot of travel destinations in Taiwan to share so you don’t spend all your time in Taipei. As shown in my photo album “BEAUTY OF TAIWAN,” there is so much more Taiwan can offer.
