About Me

Get in touch if you need someone to show you around Sydney.
I live right in the heart of the City and have showed many of my friends from China and Japan around before, so I know the good places to see if you're visiting Sydney for the first time.

Some things I could show you:
Cycle around the city and harbour - across the Harbour Bridge, Luna Park, Opera House, Barangaroo, Darling Harbour and Chinatown.
Ferry over to Manly Beach with a walk, lunch and maybe even snorkelling.
Walk from Bondi Beach to Coogee - a very famous and beautiful coastal walk.

I've spent a lot of time in China and Japan. I'm very interested in meeting anyone from Asia. I'll be spending a lot of time in Malaysia and Singapore this year.

I might be able to host people in my apartment over the next 6 months. It's right in the city on the corner of the 2 main streets in Darlinghurst. Convenient to walk anywhere in the city, but also right on the major bus routes.

.....

I'm a Tech Entrepreneur and an explorer at heart.

I love the challenge of travelling to a new city alone, trying to navigate the language and culture and meeting new people. I usually prefer to stay away from the common tourist places. I like meeting locals and finding the cool things only locals know about.

I love meeting passionate people.. It doesn't matter what you're passionate about..
I also tend to get along well with creative and open-minded people.

I have so many hobbies... actually they're probably more obsessions.. I get obsessed with something, then research everything about it, become an expert in it, then get bored and move onto the next one :P
My latest one is fragrances... somehow I've become obsessed and have over 150 fragrances I've been trying. I'm even starting to research how to make my own.

I'm starting an interesting new business that uses artificial intelligence to learn people's style and find clothes they love. Kind of like a virtual fashion stylist.
I've done so many other internet businesses in the past.

I don't update Instagram much, but you can see some of the photos I've taken on my travels:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to find genuine local experiences.
I'm not really interested in the normal touristy things.
I'm the kind of person that follows the back alleys to find out what really happens in a place.. I like to scratch beneath the surface and see what local life is really like.
