About Me
I am David Vandezande,
I am 25 years old and I live, work and study in Utrecht.
My studio is a fifteen-minute bike ride from the city centre and there are busses every 10 minutes that go to Amsterdam, Utrecht city centre, the train station and more. In my studio apartment, there's private corner an extra bed and blankets to have a good night sleep. I really enjoy going into nature and I like to talk spot plants and animals while I am there. But I also like having beers in the city and a good (techno, trance or deep house) party. I own a trekking bike and a self converted campervan which I like to take out to explore the Netherlands and the rest of Europe and if i have the time I like to visit new places with you to!
I am studying and working with people with autism at the moment. I am a free spirited person with lots of positive energy and Iove people who travel. So if you want to spend a night or more in my studio your very welcome to crash on my couch! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I travelled a lot what stayed with me most is the people I met along the way. There are so many beautiful people around the world and I would love to meet more of them. Sharing stories or going out and experiencing new things is a nice way to broaden your horizon and stay openminded!
Interests
I love traveling and ofcourse that's why I am on couchsurfing.
I am always interested in learing about people and cultures and exchange on how we view the world.
I play the guitar and like to make and listen to music. So if you have music tips bring it on!
I have a sef converted campervan which I use to travel around and is my home on wheels. You can sleep in my van to if my couch does not suit your needs ;).
I am really sporty and go swimming three times a week as well as going to the gym, running, acro yoga, surfing and kitesurfing.
I am really into making/ growing my own food and preparing fresh and healthy meals. Spending time in the kitchen is very nice especially if you can share the food with others.
I study social policy and work as a social worker which makes me really interested in social policies, sociology, psychology and politics. All of these topics I love to discuss in detail ^^.
