Overview
About Me
I'm a researcher/analyst by profession working in International Relations and I also teach at some universities, but it's more like a hobby and in fact also serves as a way to survive office-hours, since I like to reach out and get involved, communicate. I'm always interested in exploring new things, meeting people, try, taste, sense...that's in fact the reason I'm here...but hey, that's the next question :o
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
So as I said, exploring the unknown and gaining experience on my own really fills me up and gives me energy for the not so interesting days. To achieve this, I think the best way is to meet local people...at the market, in an eatery or in his/her own place. I was lucky enough, even before Couchsurfing to have this great experience, and my best memories and greatest adventures are those occasions where I had a the opportunity to stay with a local host, in a big city like Dublin...or in a silent town like Cienfuegos...or at the picturesque and almost untouched land of the Naso nation in the forests of Panama...all truly unique!

Teach, Learn, Share
Since my travels are shorter ones unfortunately, I can't usually stay for a longer time where I could actually help or contribute in a way, however, I strongly believe in the power of communities and the good will of people. So if there's a short term project or something we can manage to fit in during my visit, that would be great!
