I'm a student from Germany, where I studied bio sciences at Heidelberg University. I enjoy photography, particularly in nature and the National Parks, but I also like the big cities. Love meeting new people and making friends and conversations about anything!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I prefer staying with locals because it gives a much better insight into the actual culture of a place - rather than the "tourist culture" of hotels etc. I do like being a tourist in that the popular sights are popular for a reason, but I always greatly appreciate when I get shown new, less known places without the crowds. You don't have to play my tour guide though, I'm happy to just explore by myself, maybe with a few pointers :)

I've been playing water polo since I was 8 years old, but I enjoy lots of other sports, especially things like surfing and hiking.
I haven't been drawing a lot anymore in recent years, instead I'm really getting into photography now.
