兴趣

Humanities and arts guy here, but not a total geek..like 60% geek, I think ;) ...I love my media but I also love the outdoors, kayaking, hiking, biking...swimming, weight training...I have also started to practice some tai chi and am eager to learn more!!

music (pretty much my lifeblood): I listen to a good deal of indie rock/alternative, alt-country/Americana and singer/songwriters The National, City and Colour, Arcade Fire, Lucinda Williams, Bruce Cockburn, Jason Isbell, Drive-by Truckers...just to scratch the surface)...also like jazz (bebop and cool jazz mostly), classical (Bach is my homeboy) and I like some electronica and pop (a good pop song is a force of nature; there's no use resisting)

movies: character driven indie and foreign art house stuff, but I'm down for some mainstream popcorn as well...one of my favorite places in the whole world is a movie theatre

books: fiction, biographies, history...I have a soft spot for Beat writers and graphic novels, but I read anything and everything (from the side of the cereal box to Tolstoy)
