Hey! My name is David but most people call me Daylight and this is due to that I spend most of my time in the daytime. Well that and also because I try my best to be warm and friendly with people and I like to send them rays of my sunshine. I know that sounds pretty cheesy but I am pretty chill and carefree guy. I did spent time in the military and while most change their personalities quite a bit, I just become more courageous in staying true to myself.

So a little about me: I love traveling and spending time in different cultures. This passion came about due to my time in the military where I was able to live and work in many different countries: Japan, Djibouti, Egypt, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and France. And when my time in the military came to an end, the adventures of traveling continued on. I am pretty hooked on experiencing different cultures, I love learning about a different way of life. I generally like being around all types people and personalities, I feel like everyone has a story to tell and knowledge to share. That’s just my thoughts.

I’m on Couchsurfing to meet people from different backgrounds and cultures I might not usually meet while traveling. Wishing to engage in a more localized travel experience or just have a nice conversation and hear a perspective outside the ones native to my homeland.
