Overview
About Me
I'm David, 26 years old and I come from the Netherlands. I'm married to the amazing Irena Krajnc, who you can also find here on Couchsurfing. We like to host and travel together, so we always come in a pair ;-)
I'm very open minded and I have a great interest in your stories and you as a being!
My passion is music. I mostly express that into guitarplaying, singing and songwriting. Besides that I like to spend my time travelling (of course), reading and doing sports; yoga, long-/skateboarding.
I'm more of a listener than a talker, but that doesn't hold me back from starting good conversations. In general I'm quite of a calm person who also likes to take his time to relax. I like thinking and talking about deeper subjects that might not come by that often in conversations in general. And these conversations are always a little bit better with a good drink in our hands ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like this sharing and interacting movement. And couchsurfing is the perfect way to meet new people in different countries and give your travels a more meaningful experience.
Also, I'm just very curious about your story and about who you are.

Music, Movies, and Books
My interest in music is quite broad and varies mainly between classic rock, indie rock, folk, jazz and blues. I'm not so much into electronic music genres.
I like movies that show alternate realities and really give you this feeling of another different world.
Books I've recently gotten more into. I like reading about philosophy and psychology. I really liked (the bestsellers) Sapiens and Homo Deus.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Also i'm learning to speak Slovene. Although, this is going in a slow pace, as I only visit my family in law twice a year.
