Hiii ! I'm David 29 years old from Switzerland.

I consider myself as an open-minded person, guess friendly and happy with my situation. I love sports and good food to stay healthy and feel peaceful with myself. Okay I also love many other things like chocolate, wine, a good beer and chocolate again. Specially dark one. But really eat everything and willing to try new dishes with my hosts.

I have many passions! Dance and music are really important for me. Always love to share and dance while I'm travelling in other countries. Keeps me alive of course and music keeps me dreaming. I used to play some piano when a was little but would really love to learn some guitar as this instrument is great to bring it everywhere we travel.

I have the chance to live through my passion which is making videos on Youtube so definitely the best way to travel the world while working from my laptop anywhere I want.

I already had some great, lovely, amazing couchsurfing experiences with so many different hosts and its always a big pleasure to share our way of living.

Would love to open my door to many poeple in the future and see how they are traveling :) So it will always remind me when i was doing this and of course to share my nice flat, meals, visiting, help for a ride or anything else.

Motivational speeches ! Eric Thomas, Alan Watts, Tony Roberts and Les brown are amazing people who talk about life and so much more. They really make me feel like we can do what we want in our lives.

Watching movies can be so relaxing and interesting at the same time. I usually prefer true stories but appreciate all kind of movies. Some that really touched me are: Intouchable, The help and 12 years of slave.

I love to read books from people who talk about there experience of traveling and share many interesting stories that can inspire all of us ! Sauvage par Nature ( Sarah Marquis ) and Into the Wild ( Jon Krakauer ) are 2 books that really inspired me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've travelled to Mexico till Panama all the way only by hitchhiking about 3 months =) This was definitely one of mine AMAZING travels i've ever done !

I met so many people and stayed with local families, with hosts ( Couchsurfing ), slept in hostels and even outside ... It's not only a great way to travel but also to see how the real locals can be so kind and lovely with traveler's all over the world. Each day was a privileg and enjoyed every moments i was there ! I am so grateful for all theses beautiful people that helped me on my way to arrive to my last destination Panama. I've done some volunteering in El Salvador and Costa Rica with ( Workaway ). Great webside to eat and sleep for free in exchange of 4-5 hours work a day ....

Couchsurfing in Guatemala on a boat was just a pure privileg and there's much more that i'll share with you =)
