About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Discovering new horizons

ABOUT ME

I like big butts and I can not lie!

Jk. I'm a very easy going person, I like almost anything and if I don't like something I'll try my best not to hate it. I believe that traveling is the best way to learn about a country, because what truly makes a country is the people, the food and the party, not the things you read in a book or what you see on TV. You have to LIVE the country to really get to know it. This being said, I believe that a book is just a guide, its the experiences you have that will let you understand a country, a culture and the people who make the world so interesting.

PHILOSOPHY

The best conversation you can ever have is with a stranger.
The less you speak, the more you hear.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Until now I have only surfed at some CSerfs places, but I hope that soon I will be able to host surfers!

I've surfed at:
Alex in Berlin - December '11
Paul in Fairbanks - July '14
Lizi in Haines - July '14
Lynn in Cologne - Oct '14

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing has been one of the greatest platforms I've discovered. It's amazing how you can travel so easily with it, and get to know people from the place who will be helping you out during your stay over there. When you share time with someone who knows the city you're in, you take full advantage of your time. They will always tell you what and what not to do.

In the experience I've had so far using CS I have to highlight my stay at Alex's place in Germany, who took us to the craziest new year eve party I have ever been to. And Paul in Fairbanks who gave us the first grasp about Alaska, we shared some drinks with him until late because there was no night in Alaska!! So we didn't know when we should go to bed. In conclusion, even though I haven't had too many experiences in CS, the ones I've had, have definitely been amazing!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bungy jumping in Costa Rica
Walk from the Hidroelectrica to Huaynapicchu in Perú (about 15km) and
See Mt McKinley in Denali National Park in Alaska: Only 30% of the people who go to Denali gets to see it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I know the basic elements for surviving in Alaska. This includes: camping, cooking (from deciding the correct menu, to make it real tasty), sleeping in the wilderness and driving more than 4000 miles.

I will like to learn more about the Universe: its constellations, galaxies, black holes, worm wholes etc.
