About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying not to work too hard so that I can still enjoy my free time without falling asleep.

ABOUT ME

I actually asked my friends about this and these are some of the things they said about me: "very easy going and courteous and have very good manners". "Dave has impeccable manners, a quick wit, and awesome tattoos. And won't smother you in your sleep". "Very polite and lovely, inoffensive, and doesn't encroach personal spaces, ever". A glowing report!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm still green at this couchsurfing lark. I spent two nights couchsurfing while I was interrailing around Europe over the summer and would have loved to have done more as it was such a good experience. It's definitely something I would like to do more of in the future.

Interests

I'm an avid reader and always have a book on the go. I'm interested in skateboarding and snowboarding though I don't get to do either of them as much as I'd like to. I like to draw and enjoy watching films. Of course there's obligatory socialising with friends and sinking a few beers too!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite films are always changing but recently I've been loving 'Drive'. Anything that includes zombies is always a winner. I have a bit of penchant for Arnie films too. Can't beat a bit of the Governator.

I have quite an eclectic taste in music but mainly listen to punk/rock stuff. I'm quite liking hip hop at the moment my last.fm page could probably tell you more than I can: http://www.last.fm/user/BleedingSpleen

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Experiencing Exit Festival in Serbia this year was amazing. Incredible atmosphere and the friendliest festival people I have ever met has left me considering if I'd go to many more UK festivals in the future.
