About Me

I love adventure, nature and the amazing feeling of freedom when I'm outdoors knowing new places and finding new inspirations everywhere.

I value a lot to have deep connections with people so I always enjoy a good meaningful chat! Sharing stories, fears and dreams, the known and the unknown are just my kind of thing, so I'll always try to fit in time to spend with whoever shares these interests.

I had to work hard academically and I didn't have the means to venture as much as I wanted for a big portion of my life. Now that I graduated and am working, I am finally able to travel and experience the world the way I always dreamed of.

I came back to couchsurfing to give it a real try for the first time, as when I first created a profile I I couldn't host and didn't have much freedom to travel.

Now that I had some eye opening traveling experiences I want to broaden my horizons and further improve my next trips by connecting with and knowing local hosts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Being my life long dream to travel and know the world, seeking experiences, knowledge, inspiration and meaningful connections I really wanted to give a chance to this community

Music, Movies, and Books

I've got a varied taste in music from Rock to Classical, Pop to Jazz, Instrumental to Fado (Portuguese music type look it up ;)). Though generally I tend to prefer 70's to 90's kind of songs and also films' and videogames' soundtracks.
Some movies I loved or that stuck with me were: Cloud Atlas, Tarzan, Moana, Everything Everywhere All At Once, Soul, Puss In Boots The Last Wish... and obviously Shrek 2. I also enjoy comedies, horror or dramas from time to time, big bonus if they're Sci-Fi or Fantasy styled. Though my go to's are usually action/adventure as are these I mentioned.
I'm not much of a reader beside scientific stuff and similar types of "educational reading".
Videogames wise (should be in the category too :p) Sly Cooper, Tomb Raider, Uncharted, Gravity Rush, Ape Escape, Ratchet and Clank and I think that's enough!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Simple things thus far (I'd say):
Slided across 300 meters waay above ground (more than once) and climbed around 80m meters of a mountain wall for rookies (does it count?);
I've built some towers and a working raft as a Scout;
I've had my first solo travel to Dublin and was able to cross a dream off my bucket list to see the Giant's Causeway on a trip to Northern Ireland.
Finally I've had a trip throughout Morocco finishing in the Merzouga desert where we sang international songs from our own countries around a campfire and where we later layed watching the stars and having deep conversations, it was deeply emotional to even have had that opportunity, let alone how magical it all was.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love science in general so I always enjoy talking about mainly biology, medicine, psychology and always have fun with physics, chemistry and engineering even if I'm not much of a connoisseur of these.
I like arts in general, mostly drawing, painting, music playing and singing and architecture. I like drawing and painting as a small hobby. I also play classical guitar and sing a tiny little bit. I play some basic songs on the piano and I'd like to develop that further.
I also love the outdoors and camping so it's always a pleasure to talk about and plan activities such as these.
