About Me

CURRENT MISSION

random acts of kindness for all..

ABOUT ME

Honesty, self-awareness, selflessness, charity, patience, open mindedness, doubt, loyalty: these are just a few principles I live by. I don't believe in gossiping, EVER. I think greed is what holds back human progress and I want to do all I can to help that.
I love film, literature, music, and tv. I'm one of the biggest pop-culture nerds I know.
I write and read as much as I possibly can. I love meeting new people and making others laugh.

PHILOSOPHY

"It's only until we've lost everything that we're free to do anything." I believe that with all my being. I gave away all my material possessions, got myself down to the bare essentials and hit the road.
"NO ONE knows what's better for you than YOU do." I honestly think that if everyone would accept these 2 facts that the world will improve.
Question everything, help others, and laugh every day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to travel a lot. Now I have my own place and would like to give others the same courtesy many friends gave me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed around the country for about 2 or so years. I have a fair amount of friends and family around the country so they have been more than accommodating thus far and I've been everywhere from Jersey, to Kansas, to New Mexico, to Washington state.

Interests

film, literature, humor, stand-up comedy, history, science, physics, existentialism, street art, charity, paintings, trying new things just for the experience. sociology. metacognition. art, philosophy, and culture of all kinds. Astrophysics, quantum physics, string theory. this list goes on and on and on and on and on.

Music, Movies, and Books

the films I love would take forever to type. I love them all, including bad ones (because they're funny and help me appreciate great ones.)
I mainly listen to hip-hop and all forms of metal and grindcore, but I also love classical, grunge, classic rock, alternative, I really love all genres except country/western.
I love any and all books. just a few of my favorite authors are: Bukowski, William S. Burroughs, Jack keroac, Henry David Thoreau, Chuck Palahniuk, Howard Zinn, J.D. Salinger, Ernest Hemingway, Albert Camus, Kurt Vonnegut and on and on and on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Done: When I was 18 I had the privilege to tour 6 cities in Germany in 10 days with one of my best friends in the world. I've traveled our country and visited over half the states. Every one of my favorite bands that are still living I have seen live at least once.
Seen: I have viewed 10's of thousands of movies which I consider an extensive film education. I have seen some of the funniest, outrageous, and occasionally shocking things one can possibly see in a life like mine.
Ask me about anything and I'll be happy to share. I am an open book.

Teach, Learn, Share

It is up to us to be the change that we want to see in the world. The only way to live honestly is to do what you feel is right at all times. Obviously this is not easy, but real change never is.
