Wow, I'm back on Couchsurfing after nearly 10 years!

Hi There! I'm David, and, like you, I have many roles and aspects of my identity.

I am an artist, animist, occultist, educator, YouTuber, business growth strategist, coach, consultant, dancer, world traveler, carnivore, and lover of life, nature, and beauty.

As an artist, I "paint" on the canvas of my life and the lives of those whom I influence. I consider video production to be my strongest art medium, and I also enjoy writing songs, singing, dancing, and other endeavors.

The main themes of my art are expressions of the values I hold in the highest esteem: Truth, Freedom, and Beauty., as well as Love and Care, the generative principle of creation.

As an "animist," I recognize that everything is alive, and everything alive exists in the mind of the Creator, or what many people call God, spirit, consciousness, infinite intelligence, or The ALL.

I am an occultist because, all of my life, I have always been open to any new knowledge, and there are no taboo topics for me.

If you are unfamiliar with "the occult," the word simply means "hidden." The occult is the study of a very large body of spiritual and scientific knowledge that goes very deep, and is most often summed up by this phrase:

"Know thyself, and you shall know the Universe."

As a YouTuber and educator (@FreedomVibeArt on YouTube) I share and teach the most valuable lessons I've learned in life.

As a business coach and consultant, I am very blessed to be working 1-on-1 with some amazing clients. My clients are often pioneers in their respective fields of work, and our collaboration is mostly about helping them to serve more people.

I love to dance and to listen to great music of all kinds, particularly in live performances.

Should you ever invite me to a concert or dance event, I'm almost certain to say yes.

I embraced the "carnivore" diet 2 years ago, after many years of suffering from chronic inflammation and lower back pain.

These are nearly gone now, thanks to my diligence, with coffee being the only plant-based "food" that I consume regularly.

I am, by my own admission, a somewhat polarizing personality.

But it's not done from malice or unkindness - I simply have no tolerance for political correctness, lies or deception.

As a result, people tend to either love me or hate me, with little in between.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I joined Couchsurfing 19 years ago, I loved the idea.

However, I never truly appreciated how much of a gift the opportunity was.

Now, a bit older and wiser, I feel I have a lot to offer in exchange through conversation and projects.

As such, I simply want to be open to meeting people with whom I might not otherwise have the chance to interact.

Interests

Just as I love life, I love to do and experience many things in life!

I live a traveling lifestyle, akin to being a "digital nomad." As such, I am always traveling,which is one of my greatest joys in life.

I always enjoy meeting new people, seeing new places, exploring, conversing, and growing.

I also love to try my hand at new things. For example, in 2023, for the first time, I wrote the lyrics for 7 original songs and published them on my Youtube channel.
