About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make the world a better place to live by creating cycling opportunities as bicycle traffic engineer.

ABOUT ME

Open and tolerant
Sometimes I go slacklining, swimming and of course to music festivals in summer. I like a lot of music. Most of it has guitars in it. :)

I do not eat animals ("vegetarian") but I don't make a big thing out of that.

PHILOSOPHY

Money is not that only big thing in life. Pleasure is more important.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My girlfriend an I have been to Hamburg some days before new years eve 2013 at a very nice couch.
In spring 2013 we slept on a couch in Berlin and it was very cool.

In summer 2015 I've been on a journey through Europe via train (InterRail ticket). I visited Switzerland (Zurich, Bern) and enjoyed hiking in the alps. I've been to Milano, Turino and Genova in Italy where I learned to love the dish piadina. After that I shipped to Corse and slept under the naked sky on the beach. In France I visited Nice Ville and and the Côte d'Azur. On my trip to Spain I stopped at Cerbère (last station before you reach the border to Spain) jumped into the mediterran sea and then back on the train. In Barcelona I visited the museum of Antoni Tàpies and got lost on the train station because the TGV to Paris was fully booked. There a girl from Germany who asked me (the guy who was lost...) for directions to Girona and we could laugh about the situation and made a spontaneous trip to that little city. From there I made it to Paris and then my 22 days InterRail ticket expired - somehow to early. On the other hand I learned you can see so much of Europe in a short time and live a happy life only with the few possessions you carry around.

My last CS trips were to Copenhagen in September 2016 and Groningen (NL) in June 2017: I love urban cycling and can't think of a city offering more pleasure then wonderful Copenhagen and Groningen. I made this passion my job and work as a cycling traffic engineer.

I like the couchsurfing spirit so much because of the nice possibilities to cook and eat together or just to talk. You find a connection to the residents of a city so easy and don't only come in touch with other tourists. But whom I telling this? :D

I'm 26 years old and a student in mechanical engineering form Darmstadt, Germany. I have everything I need in my back-pack and would be absolutely fine with a place to roll out my sleeping bag.
