About Me

Excitement Abounds!!

CURRENT MISSION

Travel is the spice of life. I love seeing new places and meeting new people. To share moments with others is what makes us human! There is just so much out there and I want to see it all!!!

ABOUT ME

I am 6'8", and some people find that intimidating, but don't be. Because I am super nice. I am very gregarious, I get along with others quite well. If we go out to the bar and you for got your wallet, don't worry, this beer is on me. As my grandmother told me a sharing time is a happy time!

I love the outdoors, any thing from hiking to climbing to tramping/backpacking, or just enjoying the park.

I also love to cook. I find it cathartic. If you can teach me some cool dishes I would love that!

I love a good drink and am nondiscriminatory when it comes to my alcohol, liquor, beer or wine are all ok in my book. Though if drinking isn't your thing that is cool with me.

PHILOSOPHY

Management of expectations is the key to happiness.
A sharing time is a happy time.
Make a difference in someone's life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to see the world, but staying in hotels is so stuffy. So hard to meet new people. I love going to new places not only to see the sights, but to experience the culture, and what better way to do that than to stay with some one who lives there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've now hosted three times. Always has been a good experience. I love meeting new people and getting to know a little bit about them.

I have yet to use it in my travels.
