ABOUT ME

I would hope they'd say I was a mellow person, with a love of silly wordplay and a keenness for sociable get-togethers round a pint, or round a band, and with an odd obsession with obscure musical instruments ... but I can offer no guarantees; I don't get to interview them when I'm not around.

Interests

My interests are mostly musical; I like to play drums, whistles, piano and other clutter, and also folky dancing - my social life mostly revolves around Scottish Country Dancing when in Scotland and Scandinavian traditional dancing when in England. I know that doesn't sound quite squared up with itself, but there it is.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm. Last few awesome moments I can think of? Last year's InterVarsity Folk Dance Festival was a high time, as was the first time I heard Yat-Kha (such a body-shaking bass voice I'd never heard before).
Also, climbing up and down the steps of the Porto waterfront; a really beautiful cityscape they've got going on there.
