Sobre Mim
CURRENT STATUS
UPDATE: Hello! I just moved back so my place is not yet back up to standards. By now though it's a bit more tidy and the box-fort is concentrated in one place. If you temper your expectations (this is still not a fully moved, readily furnished and completely tidy home), by now I'm sure that the experience will suffice!
CURRENT MISSION
As things currently stand, my mission objectives are as follows:
Forcing myself into the unknown both socially and experience-wise. Lucky me: it seems like there is an online community that examplifies this like none other. It's called couchsurfing.com !
Adding to that, I would like to actually travel within the community. So far I have, with a few exceptions, only hosted. That seems to be the more wondrous side of the coin so far. Having said that: what kind of experiential pilgrim wouldn't even try to flip said coin and observe how it lands?
Aside from that I have but a stricly practical objective...
...to make sure that people read my home-description before they stay with me ^_^ There's a tendency on CS to only read people's profiles and not their home descriptions, I've noticted.
For the case of my place; I keep it very clean but it is in fact small and it's just a one-room apartment, that means we'll all be sharing a room. I personally don't care if there's little space and most surfers don't seem to either, in addition to most traveling duos being ok with sharing the wide couch. BUT, I have had people opt out even after we accepted the stay, based on me messaging them my home information on a hunch, even though it is already on display here. Save yourself the hassle of a last-minute necessitated opt-out: note this description and decide if a stay in a one-room place is for you ^_^
MORE ABOUT ME
I'm an eternal stranger with a logical way of thinking but with decisionmaking almost entirely dependent on mood. I love trying new things, usually with a sense of fear, which is exactly what makes it fun.
My serious mind seeps into my hosting and traveling and I'm often a housing- or tourism robot unless we turn out to be like-minded in whatever way there might be. Then I'll be your best friend! ... maybe.
I think it's important that we educate each other and complete our perspectives on the world by discussing it from the heart even during darker times. Twilight is foreboding but as it happens, it is also colourful.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting, for the most part. Lately I've grown more interested in the travelling aspect and will now start dabbling in that! Hopefully, my hosting abilities will help me be an easy-going guest.
TRAVELLING
I will usually plan my trip around a concert or music festival and thus be quite busy. However, I would gladly add a day free from personal plans to my stay just to figure out an activity to do together and to get to know each other, if that is something that would appeal to you. If that is not the case, let's just try to make the most out of the non-concert time that we will have!
HOSTING
I'm more-than-moderately serious about my hosting so as mentioned I'm usually cooking/cleaning/tourguiding automatically unless I say otherwise during times when I know I'm going to be busy. During such a period you might be left to your own devices instead of me giving it my all, but fret not, I will warn you ahead of your stay if I think that'll be the case ^_^
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hosted a bunch of people from here and there (and a select few hosts!) who were beyond nice, not to mention interesting ^_^ I have shared talks, meals, panicky situations and silences of both the considerate and awkward sorts with people I would never have met otherwise. Which means; mission accomplished! Time to extend it indefinitely with bonus objectives.
Interesses
I'd gladly share the above interests with guests and hosts alike. For some reason, meal times with guests seem to bring back the most fond memories of couchsuring so far. Cooking and eating together is not to be underestimated in terms of enjoyment.
Other than that, if you are interested in especially metal music, craft beer and any of the three tourism tags, let's make an effort to plan something related to it!
- cooking
- metal music
- tourism
- gaming
- craft beer
- urban tourism
- dark tourism
- specialty coffee
- classic movies
Músicas, Filmes e Livros
Books: anything depressing and esoteric or just chemistry-related books. The latter runs in my studies after all.
Music: metal comes the easiest. I'm always looking to branch out from there. Share your favourites in any genre!
Movies: anything that sounds like it has an interesting plot, or any old horror movie. That aesthetic is practically immune to poor writing.
Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz
Witnessing my first esports tournament live at Dreamhack Stockholm Open 2013. Games were always sports to me and they're finally legitimally becoming that. And no matter how nice the legitimacy might be, it was nice to witness a tournament before the commentators become boring and the elite level becomes an exclusive gentlemen's club.
Lately, too many metal concerts to count as well as a few stand-out non-metal ones. When the latter ones happen, lifelong memories typically ensue. An underrated aspect of concerts and music festivals is also the social one. One is typically surrounded by people with whom there is at least one hobby in common for free; engage!
Ensine, Aprenda, Compartilhe
I don't know of anything I have to teach anyone. Just ask and we'll see. I belive that if someone can teach something to others, they'll naturally turn on a mental state of teaching when challenged to do so. Other than that, just presenting your thoughts to another thinking person might be just the spin you need to see something new.
O Que Posso Compartilhar com Anfitriões
Conversations, touristy eyes on the place that probably started to bore you by now and, if alcohol laws in your country so permits: Swedish craft beer! The latter is an incredibly shareable cultural aspect that I'd theoretically be capable of never shutting up about.
