About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Self-development, soul-searching, till the end :)

ABOUT ME

Writing your very own personal description is always a task that is challenging and easy at the same time. It seems easy, because You are You, and who else would know You better than yourself. But the difficult part is to see yourself as an outsider, because you never see You as a completed person, but as an ever-changing personality who always strives to improve its own skills and traits. This is what I consider myself, an open-minded guy who is very adaptable to its surrounding environment. If my friends were to describe me, they would probably start with me being kind and friendly and all that. What I would say about myself is that I am self-devoted, generous, serene, and as I practice cooking a lot, I think I have a good-cooking skill (well I do hope I have). I would say my biggest weakness would be my pliability, but I consider it to be the downside to how easily I adapt to new environments. When I am around new people I always try to make sure they like me, and in order to do this I consider getting to know them more important then them getting to know me.

PHILOSOPHY

Even though it is probably encoded in us to find a meaning for life (for our life), I think there is not one. What life is, is infinity. By measuring time, we give a concept to it's infinite existence, but that is only for our sake, so that we can give a meaning to our own existence. We will never have enough time and will always have more than enough. We need to measure our existence, because we try to put it into a schedule, and by that try to give it a meaning. But I believe that we do not die, nor born as a newborn. I consider reincarnation as an infinite circle of existence. We do not float around as souls, but as we cease to exist in this body, as we die and go towards the light, through a transition, we are born already as a new person. It's like when you are going towards the light as you die, you are already the new person who is coming out of the dark womb, trying to find it's way towards the light.
This way, I think everything we do should be for the sake of enhancing our own existence.

Interests

I am currently working at Zara as a deputy manager on the men's department. Apart from a couple of things I can say that I like this job. I am generally interested in fashion and have always wanted to try myself out in managing a team that has around a dozen of employees. What makes me going at work is that I am around people all the time, and I can do an honest customer service with them, I don't have to sell for the sake of selling, but help customers for the sake of their satisfaction. The only downside to this is that after work I tend to turn anti-social as I get home, but I guess it is natural to relax alone.

I don't like people who can only talk about their job and that's all. It is all because I am like them, but I am on my way of changing that. Until a level I think it is acceptable to talk about one's job, because it takes up a huge part of a person's everyday life. But after a while it is a must to liberate your thoughts from work and concentrate on stuff that is not related to it in any way.

One of my interests apart from fashion is photography. Well, these two go hand in hand with each other. When I have finished high school I was planning to go to university to learn photography. Even though I would probably like what they could teach me, and it would improve my technice, I am not sure I want to learn that. I like that photography is a feel-good hobby for me, it brings me pleasure, and that I am not obliged to do it. I like that I still have the naivety in me when I look at art. I don't strive to be all professional about it, instead I like to live for the experience it gives.

Other interests...well I would say nature. I love wandering around in forests aimlessly, and walking barefoot in cold streams. Losing your mind and connecting with nature. I always analyze my surroundings. I always take a look at all the people who goes by me on the street, and I often find myself distracted by everything that is around me, billboards, facades of buildings, moving vehicles, flowing rivers and flying birds. I like to experience what is around me. I usually feel like I am down to earth and have my head in the clouds at the same time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I consider myself a tv series-junkie. My favourites are Modern Family, Game of Thrones, Sex and the City, Samantha Who?, Six Feet Under, and many more. I like animes also, my all-time favourites are Read or Die, and Code Geass.
I am a huge Harry Potter fan, and I really hope I will continue to be when I am old. I liked the books of Chronicles of Narnia, Battle Royale, and I am currently reading books from Murakami Haruki and Kazuo Ishiguro. I don't read very often, but I get myself through a couple of books every year.
Movies...well just a few (cause there are so many) Stay, Baraka, Weekend, Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, The Help, The Devil Wears Prada, Closer, Pan's Labyrinth, Spirited Away and many many more.
Music...I would say pop and electronic. And everything that comes in-between. I have never been able to describe my taste, but it is the mix of banging mainstream and enjoying hidden treasures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

What had the biggest influence on me was partially bringing up my little sister as I was 14. The two of us lived together when I was in high school and she was in kindergarten as my mother was working in another city. This way I learned how to be independent very early in my life and was able to experience how parenthood feels like. I know it is not something that I have done as an activity, but it really did shape who I am and how I live and plan to live my life. It was an experience I may never forget and I consider it one of the most positive ones I have ever had. Even if it seems boring, it was an amazing experience.
