About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Friendship, Learning, Exploration

ABOUT ME

Traveling at the moment, in the Baltic states of Europe - Until Mid May, 2016.

I love to travel to new places and learn about the people and environments there. I always bring my camera in search for interesting light and shapes. The place I can call home is in Trumansburg, New York about four hours northwest of NYC. It's a small village, a great place surrounded by waterfalls, dairy farms, and lots of woods.

PHILOSOPHY

Judge less, tolerate more. I travel with a small day pack only! I work seasonally and save my money to travel, which is my biggest passion. I don't drink alcohol or use drugs, and enjoy working (work that involves physical movement is a plus, even better if it's outside). I like to learn how things are made, grown or created. I have a big interest in logistics, anthropology, environmental issues, science, education, religions, values, etc. I love wikipedia, pandora, and couch surfing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed a bit around Europe, the Mid-east, and Sri Lanka and India. I've met up with CS people in Central and South America and Vietnam. I've hosted about 15 people in a house I rented in the Philippines 2014 and 2015.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This website is pretty amazing. It's a great way of bringing people together all over the world, and share

Interests

I love to hike, rock climb and climb trees. I also spent alot of my younger life skiing (XC and downhill) swimming, skateboarding and biking. I love traveling more than anything and always bring my camera and I would say wilderness and travel photography will be a life-long pursuit of mine. My website is www.tenacityinpursuit.com

I like to travel with local people and I carry usually only a day pack. I like to stay clean, informed and organized and well planned during my journey. I like to visit local monuments and collect music from street vendors. Like to eat local foods and blend in to the crowd. Like also to take pictures and visit wilderness areas.

Things I still want to do as as traveler:
Hangglide
See a glacier break into ocean
See a Large wave - think like 40' +
See Lava
Sky Dive
Sail in the Ocean
See the Aurora Borealis
Ride in a Hot Air Ballon
Ride a train across the USA and China
Ride in Helicopter
