About Me

I'm just an average guy who struggles to be a decent man.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think this is a brilliant way of meeting new people all around the world!

Interests

I love music, literature and cinema. Hanging out. Talking about life. Philosophizing, there's nothing I enjoy more! I write poetry, who knows if I'll be able to publish something someday!

Music, Movies, and Books

These are the top 5 albums, films and books I'd take with me to a desert island. But I have a list of one hundred, each category. In case someone is interested.

ALBUMS:
Endtroducing, DJ Shadow; Jesu, Jesu; Tallahassee, the Mountain Goats; Raw Power, Iggy and the Stooges; and Blue, Joni Mitchell.

FILMS:
Vertigo, Alfred Hitchcock; Paris, Texas, Wim Wenders; Sunset Boulevard, Billy Wilder; La passion de Jeanne d'Arc, Carl Theodor Dreyer; and Where is my friend's home?, Abbas Kiarostami.

BOOKS:
Leaves of Grass, Walt Whitman; Crime and Punishment, Fyodor Dostoyevsky; One Hundred Years of Solitude, Gabriel García Márquez; The Invention of Morel, Adolfo Bioy Casares; and More than Human, Theodore Sturgeon.

I slept outdoors in a god-knows-where ground in Northern Iceland.

we ourselves flash and yearn,
and moreover my mother told me as a boy
(repeatingly) ‘Ever to confess you’re bored
means you have no
