Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Being reminded of an incredible person you met or unforgettable experience you had with them are among the best ways to remember a place you visited. Couchsurfing brings people willing to share pieces of their lives, cultures, and potentially comfy floor space together - That's AWESOME!!!

Most of the Couchsurfing I've done has been in the form of receiving - usually a place to stay while in transit - and I have always been deeply grateful for the hospitality of others. I've hosted a few times while a Peace Corps Volunteer in West Africa, and hope to host again in the future when I have a residence that's not merely a bicycle or other small, moving vehicle.
