Overview
About Me
Oregon-bred hippie crossed with a boring scientist. Now I split my life between North Carolina and Singapore. I love running in places where I'm not allowed, riding my bike on roads that are only for cars, hanging out with interesting and weird people, and being in the woods.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been into the idea of Couchsurfing for ages, but my fiancee finally got me to take the plunge. I like people generally, and the sorts of people who host or sleep on strangers' couches more specifically, so would like to meet lots of them.
Interests
Destroying invasive plants, building furniture out of bamboo, raising chickens, aspiring to create a world with just a bit more chaos.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I fell hundreds of feet down Mt. Hood in Oregon and almost slid into a crevasse. Definitely one of the most amazing things I've done, but definitely not the most impressive.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to share conversations about nature, world history, naïve philosophy, and Star Trek. I'd also like to fix your bike (you know, the one that squeaks loudly and has brakes that don't really work). I like making simple, delicious food: let me make you some stew please.
