ABOUT ME
Wanderlust, dependable, intellectual, very patient
Interests
Meeting people and making friends. Some years before the advent of the internet I had 63 pen pals simultaneously - married one of them, lasted 25 years. Except for the Olympic games and some tennis, I never watch (or follow) sports on TV or in newspapers/magazines. I do, however, love to play tennis, ping pong, SCUBA. Used to fly a Cessna, ski (downhill & cross-country) and a little snow-shoeing, rafting, canoeing, hiking with Hash House Harriers. I must admit to slowing down the last couple of years.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I visited Borobudur in Surakarta (Solo), central Java, it took my breath away. Flying a Cessna 172 over the Valley of Fire national monument, Nevada. Seeing a performance of the opera, Aida, in Giza, Egypt, performed on the desert at the foot of two of the main pyramids.
