Overview
About Me
I'm a recent college graduate with a BA in History and Art History. Favourite pastimes include drawing, watching movies and eating cereal for dinner (much like Jerry Seinfeld). I am a down-to-earth, conscientious, "cool vibes" kinda guy who likes to visit galleries/museums and obsess over the Mamas and the Papas. I also love connecting with people who share my witty, irreverent sense of humour.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I use CS in order to make new friends with whom I can share new experiences!
Interests
As aforementioned, I have a deep appreciation for arts and culture; consequently, I love to visit galleries and museums. When I'm with my friends, I vacillate between witty banter and insightful conversation. I am (functionally) bilingual in French, having recently just lived in Québec for nine months. Traveling is also very important to me. One of my favourite things is getting lost in a place I'm not familiar with and reveling in the experience. I like to remain active as well, and if I could, I would bike everywhere!

Music, Movies, and Books
In terms of music, I would say I have fairly straight-forward tastes. I like older artists like The Beatles, The Mamas and the Papas, The Beach Boys, Queen, Billy Joel, Shelia, Françoise Hardy (yé-yé anyone?); but I also like contemporary ones too like Lana Del Rey, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Yelle, Christine and the Queens, Marina and the Diamonds, etc.
In terms of films, I tend to lean toward the likes of documentaries, historical dramas, contemporary dramas and thrillers. I'm not a big fan of "blockbuster" movies, superhero movies, rom-coms or horror movies.
Fun fact: I'm illiterate!
