About Me

CURRENT MISSION

In my Work & Travel Odyssey, finally enjoy fully the travelling part, after months of hard work.

ABOUT ME

Easygoing...

Used to live and share my life in a community... as I spend two years in residencies...

Passionate about travel, knowledge, foreign languages, religions.. other human beings and humanity in general.
(Humanist ?)

I always follow my bliss... do what I dream to as ... me parece que me tengo que siempre seguir adelante!

PHILOSOPHY

Rousseauist... every human being is good by nature.

Great respect for every culture and religion...

Open mind, always ready and eager to learn something.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just now, I'm expanding my knowledge of this world & travelling and couchsurfing along the way. When I will finally stop travelling and get an appartment or anything where I can install a sofa... I will definitely offer a roof to couchsurfers. As, as I learnt on the way, it is important to learn to receive but it is also great to give.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've 'couchsurfed' in Portugal, France and Scotland, mostly. I got "enrolled" in the CouchSurfing community by Anick-Marie, that is herself completely immersed ;). I didn't even know I was 'couchsurfing' at the time...

Since then, I learnt to appreciate the opportunities and even more important, the other level of human relationships that an organisation like Couchsurfing and a "couchsurfing" experience render possible.

Interests

Travelling !? Politics, religions, sports, actualities, history, new technologies, personal development, learning new languages, most of the social sciences and their development...

Basically, the human, at large! Life is phenomenal.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: documentaries... in general everything but what you can see on television... or that comes from Hollywood.

Music: everything smooth or latin... Tango, jazz, classical music, Trova, Flamenco, Gypsy music, etc!

Books: I'm reading with interest the Dhammapada presently.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I hike up to 4000 meters in the Canadian Rockies and on the Tajamulco in Guatemala.

I almost learnt spanish in three month...

I went on an active volcano... with Lava!

I went to:

... Antigua, Guatemala.
... to Sevilla, Spain.
... in the Alhambra of Granada, Spain.
... in the west of Canada
(Vancouver, Lake Louise, Banff, Morraine's lake, etc.)
... on Time Square, New York. (Mr M&M is my hero!)
... in London!
... in Paris!
... in many other places now! I did some camel in Morocco and... I think it was pretty cool ;)

I rode a motorbike on 1500 km in Guatemala.

I crossed Chiapas...

Went on the pacific coast...

I spoke with a guerrillero commander in a coffee producers community, in the middle on the jungle.

I met amazing people that fought for their freedom...

I went to the USFT in Boston.

I worked for Equiterre!

A mi me parece que me tengo que seguir adelante!

Teach, Learn, Share

Copy, paste the last section...

Teach. Learn. Share. This is a brilliant section.

I guess it should be a way of live. The cycle of development... I'm still a learner in many aspects but if there is anything I can share or even teach...

Languages skills, travellers skills, working with a map, understanding the currency trading, looking for a roof, a place to eat, etc. If that might help somebody, just ask!

A CouchSurfing University!!! BRILLIANT.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Guatemala, Mexico, Spain, United Kingdom, United States
